Mobius Loop create gloriously eccentric gypsy folk stories, fusing world music and conscious rap with eruptions of free-form dance charged with an intimately powerful and intense energetic
live performance.

uring early Spring 2015, Mobius Loop had the privilege of recording our first album live and totally acoustic at the home of Cumbria’s banjo wielding
troubadour Bill Lloyd, and what a majikal and sacred experience it was. We first met Bill in September 2014 whilst performing an impromptu acoustic set on Lancaster Jazz legend Chas Ambler’s Melodrome Stage at a wonderful yurt guru’s 50th birthday party in the depths of the historic borders of Westmorland in Cumbria, England. A few months later Mobius Loop were summoned to Bill Lloyd’s cosmic home and granted celestial permission to manifest our first album in the enchanted realms of Bill’s 17th century recording studio. Bill and his wife Ally’s love and kindness have enabled us to capture truly impassioned and inspired recordings of our most recent songs. With the help of our very talented friend, Dan Squires, a majestic sound engineer from Brookfield (Preston, Lancashire) based community-arts center ‘Soundskills’, we have created a live acoustic anthology that we feel proud to release as Mobius Loop’s first official album since our conception in Preston, Lancashire on 08/08/2008.
